Welcome to Kirklandpark School Parent Council’s website
We have created this website primarily as a resource for everybody involved with the school to network, share ideas and information, or just have fun. Please note that your first port of call to discuss school matters and concerns is still the school as it has always been. We want to encourage links between the school, parents, pupils, pre-school groups, the wider community as well as local and education authorities. We would also welcome your feedback on this website - anything you’d like to tell us that would improve the experience for all. You can also tell us what you like about the website. If you know any parents who do not have easy access to the Internet, please let us know and/or share this website news and new items with them. And tell all Kirklandpark parents you know about this website so that we can all participate and network. Our web address is easy to remember:

Changes to Parent Council’s constitution were proposed at our annual meeting (17th/September/2009). Click HERE for details.
Changes to Parent Council’s constitution were proposed at our annual meeting (17th/September/2009).
The proposed changes are:
1. Addition of paragraph 2.3 'The membership of the Parent Council for the following
year will be decided at an annual meeting' (original 2.3 becomes 2.4)
2. Change paragraph 4.4 to 'If a vacancy arises between annual meetings, the Parent
Forum will be invited to volunteer to become a member and a replacement will be selected
by the Parent Council.'
Those changes need to be approved by the Parent Forum (ie parents and guardians of
children at Kirklandpark). If you have any comments, please send them to us via the
school or by e-mail
